This fantastic Magformers Challenger 14 magnetic construction set contains new mini-hexagon and mini-octagon pieces alongside regular squares and triangles. It is the perfect introductory set to the magical, magnetic world of Magformers but is also a lovely add-on for anyone with other sets. Award-winning Magformers are proven to inspire children's creativity and assist their 3D brain development through play. Every magnetic shape features the brand’s unique Rotating Magnets System (RMS) – strong barrel magnets safely sealed inside the edges which rotate, so they always connect to each other. In maths, children can make 2D flat ‘net’ shapes then transform them into exciting 3D geometric structures, while in standard free play you can build recommended models or make up your own. This newest design sets an added challenge too Magformers fans, as not every edge of the new shapes contains a magnet…so they have to think while they build to make pieces connect successfully!
